Hand Fed Youngsters
These are our most precious little treasures. Some were bred right here in the store. Others were acquired as babies from breeders we know. All were raised with loving care. These birds are hand-fed and accustomed to being handled. They are well socialized. The ebb and flow of people visiting the store and meeting the needs of these little ones for attention and companionship is a regular part of their lives. If you're interested in a young bird that will grow to maturity under your care and guidance, and that will share its life with you for many years, you could do no better than owning one of these little treasures.

Note: Any bird purchased must be picked up at the store. We do not ship birds. Also, be sure to call and confirm the price. If we're a little slow getting the site updated before or after a sale, it could happen that a price as listed on the site won't be the same as at the store. Better to call and be sure.

Consignment Birds
From time to time, Basically Birds has older birds available that are offered for sale on consignment by their owners. This can happen for many reasons due to changing circumstances in people's lives. Often these are wonderful birds, well adjusted to life with people and willing to become loving companions to a new owner. These birds are frequently deeply discounted and may come complete with a fine cage and all accessories, (including all the bird's favorite toys).
